This early skirted style RARE toy robot works very strong and as it should. It is a crank-wind and friction powered toy. In operation the robot "walks" forward as his arms move up and down and and his mouth piece opens and closes. A clicking sound emits from the toy when it is in action. Measures 9.5 inches high and displays great! Beautiful clear original plastic face plate with no cracks or crazing. Iconic claw type hands. Amazing colorful tin litho that is vibrant and wet looking. The toy is stamped with the Yonezawa (lotus leaf) trademark and "made in Japan" on his backside. Very clean bottom. No warping or imperfections to the tinplate. No rust
